D2SE Modmanager / D2Sound.dll error

Getting this error for most of the mods I download. don't remember this ever being an issue before....

Any ideas on a fix? I downloaded the dll separately and replaced every single instance of this file that I could find, which did nothing.

 Just did a clean install thinking maybe I screwed something up but still have the same problem

I used to play HU back in the days and enjoyed it a lot. Nice to see that the mod is still alive and has an active playerbase!

Hey,

first of all I would like to apologize for the fact that many have not heard from us for a long time. Besides work and family stress there was simply no motivation to continue working on the project Reign of Shadow.

The last attempt to update the version also affected the server status, so the Reign of Shadow realm is offline since then. Since we currently don't have the resources to solve these problems, hosting outside of D2 Lunatics will probably not be possible.
If you still want to stay in contact with the community and stay up to date with possible updates (probably for SP), you are welcome to join our Discord server https://discord.gg/SGPjmrVH.

I would like to thank the community and Seltsamuel for the possibility to host us on D2 Lunatics for several years and hope to see some of you again in the near future!

This mod is focused towards group multiplayer in a manner of which a group of friends or players can start fresh new characters and fight through the forces of hell side by side. As multiplayer is the prime focus here, solo play in the sense of progressing onward is not recommended. Solo play is used mainly as a means of treasure hunting, catching up in experience or refining gear and skills. Those purely interested in solo play will find a huge obstacle in bosses, as they were designed mainly for multiplayer combat. We recommend parties of 2+ players for this mod.
