after a night full of maintenance its done. The RoS Realmserver is running.
Im sure it gets soon announced in the RoS section of this realmboard with a link to the needed RoS D2SE Plugin for you to download.

hello and thank you for hosting RoS on D2Lunatics, its much appreciated.
Good to see a new RoS version online. Just wanted to say that i can't create games in glidemode on realm, allways getting error. but it works fine with ddraw. in single player creating games is no problem no matter what grafic options.

so far .... bolli ;-)

€dit: did get the next error right after killing the first mob out of the rouge encampment.
 still hope its a problem on my side but it doesn't seem so.

€dit2: okay now i got issues in SP too so it seems to be a problem on my side. got to check my settings & grafics driver ...

€dit3: installed latest grafic driver still having problems, turned of dual monitor settings didn't help. i do have the same problems with version 0.82 so its definitive a problem on my side, but i cant figure it out. im doing great with snej so any hints what else i can check out?

€dit4: I'm running out of ideas. i turned off crossfire settings just to be sure it does'nt have something to do with my dual setting.

My system is:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
2x AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
16 GB RAM
Win 7 Professional 64Bit SP1


€dit5: Ok somehow after several reboots it seems to work. must have been something in cache somewhere that made problems.
good thing is i had a reason to look for the latest gpu driver  ;-)

Dno why, but i know some players ( including myself ) who get that error sometimes and it is mosty for every mod you have installed. Only restarting your computer helps at that point.

yeah i knew about that, but i thought it should work after i installed the new driver because i had to reboot twice. but it did not. i think my mistake was that i startet snej again between these reboots, just for testing reasons so i had to make another reboot to get it working.

Hi,

the problem may be not relocatable codeedits directly inside the .dll files or forgotten to add/remove relocation entrys. This problem could happen on all mods that have directly edited gamedll files.
There is no solution beside rebooting the machine until it works as the relocation of dlls happens completely random. Only to make this clear, this is not a problem of D2SE or Snej but of Windows from up Win7 SP1 (since then its impossible to deactivate ASLR thx microsoft) and its "nice" ASLR feature.

Ok, absolutely love this mod but I cannot tell you how annoying it is to have to restart my computer over and over and over and did i say over because I still meant over and over and over before it will stop giving me an unhandled exception.  c00000005.
