Mercenarys Level

Hello Everyone. I'm playing d2 for quite a time now. Last time i found the D2SE Mod and use it since that day.
Great work by the matter of means to Seltsamuel and all other Modders who but their effort in this game and hold it up this high until those days...

But now i got some question and i really hope u can help me out at this one.
I was testing different modifications last months and i recognized some nifty failure. When i liked to change a Hireling i couldn't get one right next to my level.
The level of the hireable Mercs did also vary sometimes between the mods and the difficuly choices.
I would like to get my Hireling somewhere in the same Range to my own character.

An Example: The possibly highest Merc with holy Freeze Aura, able to get from the nightmare difficulty was about lvl 48, as my char was at the point of level 95 or something.

I Hope u understand my issues and maybe someone could help me to get on that Problem. Getting Mercs in my own level range would be nice. Cause i dont wanna waste hours to level up a merc for about 50 levels or something.

I'm gonna make it short: This depends on the mod and there is no possibility to change it unless the modder does so in a new patch.

Hi,

the level of the Merc at the time you buy it depends on the D2 Version the Mod uses!

When i remember right from up 1.12a the Merc will have the same level as your char.
I personally think its no really hard job to level the Merc.

So i gotta do what i have to do lvl the merc by hand.

by the way it can be rather tedious to lvl up the merc for about 50 levels+ everytime when u wanny try out a new merc.
But anyway just for information, currently i'm playing RoS merc level depends on difficulty settings in this mod u can get a new merc in normal on something like level 20, on nightmare on lvl 40 and hell on 60 (ca.).
On Eastern Sun mod all Mercenaries on all difficulties was about level 20ish.
re-lvl mercs anytime i equip a new one is just rather boring, instead i could do x runs on mephi or whatever, rather to spend time on normal again to let that merc live longer.

Of course this is only my opinion, but like LOD 1.12 or something like that (just how Seltsamuel said i think) u should get new merc on a lvl -5 near to yours (or around that number).
I really would appreciate some fix on that issue.
Please do not understand this as a beg on fixing something, but as a personal interest on my own
